About Me
-->
My name is Lindsay and I am a nutrition and food enthusiast. I was born and raised in Maine, and I wouldn’t have it any
other way. In May 2011, I graduated from the University of Maine with my
bachelors of science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and now have my gradute certificate. I work as a nutritionist for the WIC program (Women, Infants, & Children), and I love my job! I currently live
with my husband, chocolate lab, and Siamese cat in a beautiful Maine. Some of my favorite things are cooking, eating, traveling, fitness, trying new foods, being
immersed in new cultures, adventure/obstacle races, hiking, camping, kayaking, and standup paddle boarding. Although I try to eat healthy, I also try not
to deprive myself of foods I enjoy, good or bad. Moderation is key! I will be
the first to admit that I have a weakness for doughnuts! I have a dream of
making my mark in the nutrition word, whether it be by helping a single person,
or a whole population. A huge interest of mine lies in obesity and disease
prevention, and increasing nutrition awareness. I hope you enjoy this blog,
and that it reflects my passion for nutrition!
